RGS10 plays a role in chemoresistance in ovarian cancer. Loss of RGS10 enhances survival among these cells.
RGS10 could serve in a novel, and previously unknown, role by accelerating the hydrolysis of GTP (zeige AK3 Antikörper) from Rheb (zeige RHEB Antikörper) in ovarian cancer cells.
Inhibition of HDAC1 (zeige HDAC1 Antikörper) and DNMT1 (zeige DNMT1 Antikörper) modulate RGS10 expression and decrease ovarian cancer chemoresistance.
The results suggest unaltered membrane RGS4 (zeige RGS4 Antikörper) and cytosolic RGS10 proteins levels in schizophrenia and major depression.
Data show that that SPL/RGS/SHP1 complexes are present in resting platelets where constitutive phosphorylation of SPL(Y398) creates an atypical binding site for SHP-1.
RGS10 is a key molecule that contributes to the inhibition of Galpha (zeige SUCLG1 Antikörper)-dependent signaling during chemokine (zeige CCL1 Antikörper)-activated alpha4beta1- and alphaLbeta2-dependent T cell adhesion.
RGS10 and RGS4 (zeige RGS4 Antikörper) proteins are both detected in postmortem prefrontal cortex.
Results establish RGS10 and RGS17 (zeige RGS17 Antikörper) as novel regulators of cell survival and chemoresistance in ovarian cancer cells and suggest that their reduced expression may be diagnostic of chemoresistance.
Results demonstrate the specificity of RGS10A as a key component in the RANKL (zeige TNFSF11 Antikörper)-evoked signaling pathway for osteoclast differentiation.
Findings suggest a role of regulator of G-protein signalling 10 protein (RGS10) in modulating the hemostatic and thrombotic functions of platelets, and a potential therapeutic target to control platelet activity and/or hypercoagulable states.
Rgs10 expression is dynamically regulated in microglia in response to multiple signals.
These data demonstrate a critical role for RGS10 in mediating autoimmune disease through regulation of T lymphocyte function.
data indicate that Rgs10-/- macrophages displayed dysregulated M1 responses along with blunted M2 alternative activation responses
we identified protein kinase A and the downstream phospho-cAMP response element-binding signaling pathway as key mediators of the neuroprotective effect of RGS10 against inflammatory stress
RGS10 negatively regulates nuclear factor kappaB activation and production pathway in microglia and demonstrates the neuroprotective effects of microglial RGS10 gene transfer in a rat model of parkinsonism.
mechanism through which RGS10 specifically regulates the RANKL (zeige TNFSF11 Antikörper)-evoked RGS10/calmodulin-[Ca2 (zeige CA2 Antikörper)+]i oscillation-calcineurin-NFATc1 (zeige NFATC1 Antikörper) signaling pathway in osteoclast differentiation
Limits microglial-derived TNF (zeige TNF Antikörper) secretion and regulates functional outcome of inflammatory stimuli in tventral midbrain. Novel drug target for prevention of nigrostriatal pathway degeneration, neuropathological hallmark of Parkinson's disease.
Regulator of G protein signaling (RGS) family members are regulatory molecules that act as GTPase activating proteins (GAPs) for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric G proteins. RGS proteins are able to deactivate G protein subunits of the Gi alpha, Go alpha and Gq alpha subtypes. They drive G proteins into their inactive GDP-bound forms. Regulator of G protein signaling 10 belongs to this family. All RGS proteins share a conserved 120-amino acid sequence termed the RGS domain. This protein associates specifically with the activated forms of the two related G-protein subunits, G-alphai3 and G-alphaz but fails to interact with the structurally and functionally distinct G-alpha subunits. Regulator of G protein signaling 10 protein is localized in the nucleus. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
