This antibody recognises CDw210a, a cell surface glycoprotein of approximately 110KD, also known as Interleukin-10 receptor 1 (IL-10R1). The epitope recognised by this antibody has been localised to the ligand binding domain within the extracellular region of Mouse CDw210a. The specificity of this antibody has been confirmed by blocking with excess IL-10. This clone is reported to neutralize the effects of IL-10 (1). Does not react with Human.

Flow Cytometry: 1/10 - 1/100, Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 1x 10^6 cells in 100 μL, Due to low expression of CD210, sensitive staining techniques may be required. Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Interleukin 10 binds specifically and with high affinity to cell-surface receptors. Interleukin 10 receptors are members of the class II subgroup of the cytokine receptor superfamily. The IL10 receptor complex contains two distinct type II cytokine receptor subunits, the ligand binding IL10RA and the IL10RB. The coexpression of both chains is essential for IL10 induced signal transduction. The beta chain serves as an accessory chain essential for the active IL10 receptor complex and necessary for the initiation of signal transdunction. Interleukin 10 receptors are expressed in all cell types that are known to respond to IL10. Mouse CDw210a is expressed by a range of cells including thymocytes, T cells, B cells and monocytes.Synonyms: IL-10R-A, IL10 Receptor alpha, Interleukin-10 receptor alpha chain
