We showed that expression levels for NTS (zeige NTS Antikörper) and NTSR1 (zeige NTSR1 Antikörper) varied, that NTSR2 expression was not detectable and that NTSR3 (zeige SORT1 Antikörper) was consistently expressed in all CRC (zeige CALR Antikörper) cell lines examined.
high expression of NTSR1 (zeige NTSR1 Antikörper) is found in clinical NETs and promoter methylation is an important mechanism controlling the differential expression of NTSR1 (zeige NTSR1 Antikörper) and silencing of NTSR2 in NET cells
NTSR2 was overexpressed, NTSR1 (zeige NTSR1 Antikörper) decreased, and neurotensin (zeige NTS Antikörper) was not expressed in B cell leukemia patient's B-cells, as compared with healthy B cells.
this study proposes a novel function of NTR2 in the regulation of NTR1 activity.
NTR2 and NTR3 (zeige SORT1 Antikörper) were upregulated in prostate cancer cells with luminal phenotype (cytokeratin 18 (zeige KRT18 Antikörper)+)
ghrelin receptor (zeige GHSR Antikörper), neurotensin receptor 2 and GPR39 (zeige GPR39 Antikörper) display an unusually high degree of constitutive activity, determined by an aromatic cluster on the inner face of the extracellular ends of TMs (zeige TYMS Antikörper) VI and VII (zeige TH Antikörper)
NTR1 and NTR2 mRNA were not detected in either pituitary adenomas or normal tissue.
These data support the regulation of baseline prepulse inhibition, acoustic startle response and locomotor activity by endogenous neurotensin acting at the NT2 receptor.
Ntsr2 receptor subtype is necessary for normal dopaminergic function.
These results suggest that Ntsr2 in astrocytes and neurons may have unique function like a modulation of fear memory in the mouse brain.
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the G protein-coupled receptor family that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Binding and pharmacological studies demonstrate that this receptor binds neurotensin as well as several other ligands already described for neurotensin NT1 receptor. However, unlike NT1 receptor, this gene recognizes, with high affinity, levocabastine, a histamine H1 receptor antagonist previously shown to compete with neurotensin for low-affinity binding sites in brain. These activities suggest that this receptor may be of physiological importance and that a natural agonist for the receptor may exist.
