It is associated with both constitutive and regulated secretory pathways, and may be involved in protein transport. RAB11A is a known marker for protein trafficking, sorting, and recycling in the endosomal pathway. Recombinant human RAB11A, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
