Beschreibung: CD147 (basigin, neurothelin, OX-47, 5A11, CE9, M6) also known as EMMPRIN(extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer) or TCSF (tumour cell-derivedcollagenase-stimulatory factor) is an ubiquitously expressed cell surface protein withmultiple glycosylated forms. The highest level of CD147 expression is on metabolicallyactive cells, such as lymphoblasts, inflammatory cells, brown adipocytes and malignanttumour cells. CD147 has multiple functions, including facilitating of cell surface expression ofmonocarboxylate transporter proteins and extracellular matrix metalloproteinases, regulationof integrin functions, it plays roles in cell development and activation, fetal development orretinal function.

Spezifität: The antibody MEM-M6/1 recognizes an epitope in the N-terminal Ig domain (D1) of CD147(Neurothelin), a 50-60 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on allleukocytes, red blood cells, platelets and endothelial cells, it is not expressed by restinglymphocytes.The antibody MEM-M6/1 is a high-affinity antibody capable of binding to unstimulatedperipheral blood T cells.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 20 µl reagent / 100 µl of whole blood or 10 6 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (2 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests.

Buffer: The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azideand 0.2% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as a stabilizing agent.

Lagerung: Store in the dark at 2-8 o C. Do not freeze. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.Short-term exposure to room temperature should not affect the quality of the reagent.However, if reagent is stored under any conditions other than those specified, the conditions must be verified by the user.
