Immunogen: amino acids 366 to 453 of PA3841 of ADP-rbosylating enzyme - Exoenzyme Soverexpressed in a GST fusion. Afterwards cleaved with a help of trombin andseparated on a polyacrylamide gel. Gel piece has been used for immunizations.

Beschreibung: Exoenzyme S (ExoS) is a toxin directly translocated into eukaryotic cells by thetype III secretory process of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is a bi-functional toxinand contain an N-terminal Rho GAP domain that disrupts the actin cytoskeletonand interference of phagocytosis. The C-terminal of ExoS contains anADP-ribosyltransferase domain, which elicits a cytotoxic phenotype in culturedcells.
