Beschreibung Rubisco (Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase) catalyzes therate-limiting step of CO2 fixation in photosynthesis. It is one of the most abundantproteins on Earth and its homology has been demonstrated from purple bacteriato flowering plants.
