Beschreibung: Ly49C, Ly49F, Ly49H and Ly49I are members of the lectin like homodimeric Ly49 family ofcell surface receptors. Mouse Ly49 receptors exhibit allelic specificity for MHC class I Iamolecules and are thought to serve to prevent natural killer (NK) cells from attackingnormal cells, while allowing them to attack infected or transformed cells in which class Imolecules have been down regulated. (Ref. 2) These inhibitory receptors are also expressedon a subpopulation of mouse CD8+ T cells.

Spezifität: This antibody is specific to an epitope common to the Ly49C, Ly49F, Ly49H and Ly49Iallelic/splice variants. The antibody stains ~ 90% of NK1. 1+CD3- splenocytes, and ~ 6% of CD8+ spleen cells fromC57BL/6 mice. (Ref. 1) The antibody also stains 30-80% of NK1. 1+CD3-splenocytes in othermouse strains tested (BALB/c, C3H, 129, SJL, AKR/J). Species: Mouse. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Flow Cytometry: < / = 1 µg/10e6 cells. (Ref.1,3)Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or in (aliquots) at -20°C for longer. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
