Hepatitis B core antigen is found on Dane particle and also in hepatocytes nuclei in hepatitis B infection. Antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc) is considered a sensitive and specific serum marker of hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection.

Applikationshinweise
|
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and frozen sections. Dilute 1:200-1:400 using polymer or streptavidin -biotin system for 30 mins at room temperature. The optimum dilution should be determined by the individual lab. Positive Control: Human liver infected with hepatitis B virus. Cellular Localization: Hepatocyte nuclei.
