Produktbeschreibung

Weitere Bezeichnung Beta subunit of Cytochrome b559 of PSII (PsbF)
Swiss-Prot P62095
Immunogen KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide derived from plant PsbF sequences includingArabidopsis thaliana P62095
Format Lyophilized
Beschreibung Cytochrome b559 (Cyt b559) is encoded by the chloroplast genes psbE andpsbF and is comprised of two low molecular mass polypeptides, α and ß subunits, with molecular masses of 9 and 4 kDa, respectively. The Cyt b559 is closelyassociated with PSII in all oxygenic photosynthetic organisms. The α and ßsubunits of the Cyt b559 are components of the minimal PSII reaction centercomplex that is still capable of primary charge separation In summary, both PsbEand PsbF are essential components for PSII assembly, and they are probablyinvolved in electron transport mechanisms that help to protect PSII fromphotodamage.
Spezifität Predicted reactivity: Nicotiana tabacum, Pinus sylvestris, Populus tremula.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise Recommended Dilution 1: 1000 (WB).
Reinheit Serum
Lagerung store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C, once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior toopening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized materialadhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.
