Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | c-Myc |
| Immunogen | Synthetic peptide sequence (AEEQKLISEEDLL) corresponding to the C-terminal region ofhuman c-Myc. |
| Isotyp | IgG1 |
| Klon | 9E10 |
| Spezifität | The antibody 9E10 may be used to detect the c-Myc tag.The c-myc gene (8q24 on human chromosome) is the cellular homologue of the v-mycgene originally isolated from an avian myelocytomatosis virus. The c-Myc protein is atranscription factor (nuclear localization). c-Myc is commonly activated in a variety of tumorcells and plays an important role in cellular proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis and cellcycle progression. The phosphorylation of c-Myc has been investigated and previousstudies have suggested a functional association between phosphorylation at Thr58/Ser62 byglycogen synthase kinase 3, cyclin-dependent kinase, ERK2 and C-Jun N-terminal Kinase(JNK) in cell proliferation and cell cycle regulation. In normal cells the expression of c-Myc istightly regulated but in human cancers c-Myc is frequently deregulated. c-Myc is alsoessential for tumor cell development in vasculogenesis and angiogenesis that distributeblood throughout the cells. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | The reagent is designed for analysis. Suggested working dilution is 1: 500.Indicated dilution is recommended starting point for use of this product. Working concentrations should be determined by the investigator. |
| Konzentration | 1 mg/ml |
| Buffer | The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.01% (w/v)thimerosal and 1% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as astabilizing agent. |
| Lagerung | Store in the dark at 2-8 o C. Do not freeze. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.Short-term exposure to room temperature should not affect the quality of the reagent. However, if reagent is stored under any conditions other than those specified, the conditions must be verified by the user. |
