| Beschreibung | CD19 is a transmembrane glycoprotein of Ig superfamily expressed by B cells from the timeof heavy chain rearrangement until plasma cell differentiation. It forms a tetrameric complexwith CD21 (complement receptor type 2), CD81 (TAPA-1) and Leu13. Together with BCR (Bcell antigen receptor), this complex signals to decrease B cell treshold for activation by theantigen. Besides being signal-amplifying coreceptor for BCR, CD19 can also signalindependently of BCR coligation and it turns out to be a central regulatory component uponwhich multiple signaling pathways converge. Mutation of the CD19 gene results inhypogammaglobulinemia, whereas CD19 overexpression causes B cell hyperactivity. |
| Spezifität | The antibody LT19 reacts with CD19 (B4), a 95 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein(immunoglobulin superfamily) expressed on B lymphocytes and follicular dendritic cells, it islost on plasma cells. |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 10 µl reagent / 100 µl of whole blood or 10 6 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. |
| Buffer | The reagent is provided in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azideand 0.2% (w/v) high-grade protease free Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) as a stabilizing agent. |
| Lagerung | Store in the dark at 2-8 o C. Do not freeze. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Do not use after expiration date stamped on vial label.Short-term exposure to room temperature should not affect the quality of the reagent. However, if reagent is stored under any conditions other than those specified, the conditions must be verified by the user. |
