Beschreibung: CD147 (basigin, neurothelin, OX-47, 5A11, CE9, M6) also known as EMMPRIN (extracellularmatrix metalloproteinase inducer) or TCSF (tumour cell-derived collagenase-stimulatoryfactor) is an ubiquitously expressed cell surface protein with multiple glycosylated forms. The highest level of CD147 expression is on metabolically active cells, such aslymphoblasts, inflammatory cells, brown adipocytes and malignant tumour cells. CD147has multiple functions, including facilitating of cell surface expression of monocarboxylatetransporter proteins and extracellular matrix metalloproteinases, regulation of integrinfunctions, it plays roles in cell development and activation, fetal development or retinalfunction.

Spezifität: The antibody MEM-M6/2 recognizes extracellular Ig domain D1 of CD147 (Neurothelin), a50-60 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on all leukocytes, redblood cells, platelets and endothelial cells, it is not expressed by resting lymphocytes. The antibody MEM-M6/1 is a high-affinity antibody capable of binding to unstimulatedperipheral blood T cells. Species: Human, Porcine. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: PBS, pH 7.4 with 15 mM sodium azide as preservative.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
