Beschreibung: One of the most frequent causes of man infertility is defective sperm acrosome. Thisdamage can be detected using antibodies against intra-acrosomal proteins. Besidesdiagnostics of sperm pathology, monoclonal antibodies against intra-acrosomal proteinscan be used for evaluation of the physiological state of sperm cells as well as for selectionof a suitable method of fertilization in the laboratories of assisted reproduction.

Spezifität: The antibody Hs-14 reacts with a 220 kDa testis-specific intra-acrosomal proteinassociated with the membranes of the acrosomal vesicle. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Flow Cytometry. Western Blotting. Immunocytochemistry: 10 μg/ml, Staining technique: Membrane permeabilization(acetone) is essential. Application note: The antibody Hs-14 is designed for quantitativeimmunofluorescence analysis of pathological sperms (excellent tool for laboratories ofassisted reproduction when optimal method of fertilization is sought). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
