Beschreibung
|
Parathyroid hormone (PTH), or Parathormone, is secreted by the parathyroid glands as apolypeptide containing 84 amino acids. It acts to increase the concentration of calcium inthe blood, whereas calcitonin (a hormone produced by the parafollicular cells of thethyroid gland) acts to decrease calcium concentration.

Spezifität
|
This antibody detects PTH peptide (aa 24-37, 16-24, 1-84, 7-84, 1-34, 1-37, 1-38). There were no cross reactivities obtained with synthetic PTH peptide (aa 1-3, 1-10). Species: Human. Others not tested.

ELISA (50 ng/ml). ILMA (50 ng/ml). Immunohistochemistry (1 ug/ml). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
