Immunogen: Influenza A, strain Texas 1/77 (H3N2).

Beschreibung: Influenza A and B are the two types of influenza viruses that cause epidemic humandisease. Influenza type C infections cause a mild respiratory illness and are not thought tocause epidemics. Influenza A viruses are further categorized into subtypes on the basis of two surfaceantigens: hemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N). Strains are also described bygeographic origin, strain number and year of isolation.

Spezifität: Purified virions. Specific to H3N2 by IHA. May react with Chicken cellular proteins. Does not react with Influenza B, RSV, Para 1-3, or Adenovirus. Does not react with HEp-2 cells.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Suitable for use with avidin and streptavidin amplification systems for IFA and IHA. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Konzentration: 4-5 mg/ml (OD280 nm, E0.1%=1.4)

Buffer: 0.01M PBS, pH 7.2 containing 0.09% Sodium Azide as a preservativewithout stabilizing proteins.Label: Covalently coupled with the N-Hydroxysuccinimide ester of Biotin under mildconditions to give a high degree of substitution.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
