Spezifität: Ki-T1R detects an epitope of a 161 kD glycoprotein (4 bands of 36 kD, 38 kD, 40 kD and 47kD under reducing conditions) which is located on the outer surface of cytoplasmicmembranes. Antigen distribution: Isolated cells: Ki-T1R detects approximately 80% of peripheral bloodT-cells. It is negative on all other cell types. Tissue sections: Ki-T1R shows verycharacteristic staining patterns in lymphoid organs according to the T-cell distribution,paracortical T-cell zone of lymph nodes, periarteriolar T-cell zones of the spleen, T-cellnodules of the gastrointestinal tract and bone marrow, thymocytes with prevalence fromthymus medulla. Monoclonal antibody Ki-T1R as a pan T-cell marker is a useful reagent for thecharacterization of lymphoid organs and for the study of the interaction of T-cells withother cell types like macrophages. Species: Rat. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (5 ug/ml, 1: 400). Suggested positive control: Rat spleen. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: Phosphate buffered saline pH 7.2 (PBS), 10 mg/ml bovine serum albumin(BSA) as a stabilizer and 0.09 % sodium azide as a preservative.Reconstitution: Restore with 0.5 ml distilled water.

Lagerung: Store lyophilized at 2 - 8 °C and reconstituted at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freezing andthawing. Shelf life: One year from despatch.
