Beschreibung: Salmonella is a genus of the family Enterobacteriaceae populated by a variety of Gramnegative rod-shaped bacteria, many of which are pathogenic and cause a range ofdiseases in humans. Salmonellae possess 3 major surface antigens, the H or flagellarantigen (phase 1 and 2), the O or somatic antigen (part of the LPS moiety) and the Vi orcapsular antigen (referred to as K in other Enterobacteriaceae). Salmonellae also possessthe LPS endotoxin characteristic of Gram negative bacteria. This LPS is composed of an Opolysaccharide (O antigen) an R core and the endotoxic inner Lipid A.

Spezifität: This antibody is specific for the flagellum protein present in most Salmonella species andis broadly reactive in ELISA. It does not detect E. coli and other intestinal bacteria.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: ELISA: 1/20-1/200. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Konzentration: 0.1 mg/ml

Buffer: PBS, pH 7.2 containing 0.09% Sodium Azide as preservative and 1% BSA asstabilizer.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
