Handhabung

Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/mL is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Hintergrund: CTLA-4 (cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4), also known as CD152, is a protein receptor that, functioning as an immune checkpoint, downregulates immune responses.CTLA4 is constitutively expressed in regulatory T cells but only upregulated in conventional T cells after activation - a phenomenon which is particularly notable in cancers. It acts as an "off" switch when bound to CD80 or CD86 on the surface of antigen-presenting cells.

Molekulargewicht: 14.4 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 25-30 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
