- Hintergrund
- GLYAT, also known as glycine-N-acyltransferase, is a mitochondrial acyltransferase which conjugates glycine with acyl-CoA substrates in the mitochondria. The protein is thought to be important in the detoxification of endogenous and xenobiotic acyl-CoA's. Recombinant human GLYAT protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography. Synonyms: Glycine-N-acyltransferase, ACGNAT, CAT, GAT.
