- Hintergrund
- GNGT1, also known as guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(T) subunit gamma-T1, belongs to the G protein gamma family. This protein is involved as a modulator or transducer in various transmembrane signaling systems. It is required for the GTPase activity, for replacement of GDP by GTP, and for G protein- effector interaction. Recombinant human GNGT1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
