Verwendungszweck: UTP14A is a protein encoded by the UTP14A gene which is approximately 87,9 kDa. UTP14A is localised to the nucleus. It is involved in rRNA processing in the nucleus and cytosol, ribosome biogenesis in eukaryotes and gene expression. This protein falls under the uridine triphosphate 14 family. It is an essential component of a large ribonucleoprotein complex bound to the U3 small nucleolar RNA which is involved in ribosome biogenesis and 18S rRNA synthesis. UTP14A is expressed ubiquitously. STJ96211 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of UTP14A protein.
