Verwendungszweck: ARF GAP1 is a protein encoded by the ARFGAP1 gene which is approximately 44,6 kDa. ARF GAP1 is localised to the cytoplasm and Golgi apparatus. It is involved in the transport to the Golgi and subsequent modification, vesicle-mediated transport and metabolism of proteins. It promotes hydrolysis of ADP-ribosylation factor 1-bound GTP and is required for the dissociation of coat proteins from Golgi-derived membranes and vesicles. Dissociation of the coat proteins is required for the fusion of these vesicles with target compartments. ARF GAP1 is expressed in the nervous system, liver, lung and skin. STJ91671 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of ARF GAP1 protein.
