SEPHS2 encodes an enzyme that synthesizes selenophosphate from selenide and ATP. Zusätzlich bieten wir Ihnen SEPHS2 Antikörper (30) und SEPHS2 Proteine (6) und viele weitere Produktgruppen zu diesem Protein an.
the transcriptome of fruit flies with knockdown of SPS2 in larval and adult stages, is reported.[Sps2]
The downstream DNA replication-related element has been identified as an essential element for dsps2 promoter activity.
Thus, bovine active selenophosphate synthetase 2 of molecular mass 33 kDa does not contain selenocysteine.
These in vivo studies indicate that SPS2 is essential for generating the selenium donor for selenocysteine biosynthesis in mammals.
Data confirm interactions among components of the early steps of the selenocysteine biosynthesis pathway (SEPSECS (zeige SLA ELISA Kits), SECP43 (zeige TRNAU1AP ELISA Kits), SEPHS1 (zeige SEPHS1 ELISA Kits), and SEPHS2); SECP43 (zeige TRNAU1AP ELISA Kits), which interacts with SEPSECS (zeige SLA ELISA Kits) and SEPHS1 (zeige SEPHS1 ELISA Kits), is a globular protein that forms oligomers in vivo.
miR (zeige MLXIP ELISA Kits)-185 plays a role in up-regulation of GPX2 (zeige GPX2 ELISA Kits) and SEPHS2 expression. In the case of SEPHS2 this may contribute to maintaining selenoprotein synthesis.
the Sps1 (zeige SRM ELISA Kits)-encoded enzyme depends on a selenium salvage system that recycles l-selenocysteine, whereas the Sps2 enzyme can function with a selenite assimilation system
This gene encodes an enzyme that synthesizes selenophosphate from selenide and ATP. Selenophosphate is the selenium donor used to synthesize selenocysteine, which is co-translationally incorporated into selenoproteins at in-frame UGA codons. This protein itself contains a selenocysteine residue in its predicted active site. The 3' UTR of the gene has a stem-loop secondary structure called a selenocysteine insertion sequence (SECIS) element, which allows UGA to direct the incorporation of selenocysteine rather than signal a translational stop. Alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified, but their biological validity has not been determined.
