  4. phosphoserine phosphatase deficiency is associated with Neu-Laxova syndrome.

  5. status of PSPH in normal skin epidermis and skin tumors along with its sub-cellular localization in epidermal keratinocytes and its requirement for squamous cell carcinoma proliferation

  6. human phosphoserine phosphatase structure now shows a sevenfold coordinated Ca(2 (zeige CA2 Proteine)+) ion in the active site that might explain the inhibitory effect of Ca(2 (zeige CA2 Proteine)+) on the enzyme

  1. status of PSPH in normal skin epidermis and skin tumors along with its sub-cellular localization in epidermal keratinocytes and its requirement for squamous cell carcinoma proliferation

  2. PSP has a role in neural stem cell proliferation and may regulate signaling between neural stem cells and other cells within the stem cell niche.

Phosphoserine Phosphatase (PSPH) Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a subfamily of the phosphotransferases. This encoded enzyme is responsible for the third and last step in L-serine formation. It catalyzes magnesium-dependent hydrolysis of L-phosphoserine and is also involved in an exchange reaction between L-serine and L-phosphoserine. Deficiency of this protein is thought to be linked to Williams syndrome.
