HnRNP-R-mediated axonal beta-actin (zeige ACTB Proteine) mRNA translocation plays an essential physiological role for axon growth and presynaptic differentiation.
demonstrated that HNRNPR binds MHC class I mRNAs in their 3' untranslated regions and enhances their stability and their expression; regulation by HNRNPR modulates the cytotoxic activity of NK cell; conclude that HNRNPR acts as a general positive regulator of MHC class I expression
SMN (zeige STMN1 Proteine) is involved in the axonal translocation of hnRNP R and hnRNP R-bound RNA/protein complexes.
Data demonstrate that expression levels of hnRNP A1 (zeige HNRNPA1 Proteine), Q, K, R, and U influence HIV-1 production by persistently infected astrocytes, linking these hnRNPs to HIV replication.
Short-term exercise resulted in a significant increase of mRNA expression of genes encoding proteins involved in the formation of precatalytic splisosome: HNRNPR.
HNRNPR enhanced transcription from the c-fos promoter.
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein R cooperates with mediator to facilitate transcription reinitiation on the c-Fos gene.
This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). The hnRNPs are RNA binding proteins and they complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA). These proteins are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, some seem to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encoded by this gene has three repeats of quasi-RRM domains that bind to RNAs and also contains a nuclear localization motif. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
