Endoplasmic reticulum resident chaperone GRP78 (zeige HSPA5 Antikörper), mitochondrial protein (zeige COX6B2 Antikörper) Prohibitin (zeige PHB Antikörper) and heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (zeige PCBP2 Antikörper) hnRNPC (C1/C2) have been shown to interact with viral RNA. Hence it is proposed that these are the principle candidates governing endoplasmic reticulum stress-induced apoptosis in JEV infection.
Our results indicate that a balance between lncRNA SNHG1 and hnRNPC regulates p53 (zeige TP53 Antikörper) activity and p53 (zeige TP53 Antikörper)-dependent apoptosis upon doxorubicin treatment, and further indicate that a change in lncRNA subcellular localization under specific circumstances is biologically significant.
These data suggest an interplay between CELF2 (zeige CELF2 Antikörper) and hnRNP C as the mechanistic basis for activation-dependent alternative splicing of TRAF3 (zeige TRAF3 Antikörper) exon 8.
These findings suggest that hnRNP C1/C2 is involved in dengue virus replication at the stage of viral RNA synthesis.
HnRNP C, YB-1 (zeige YBX1 Antikörper) and hnRNP L (zeige HNRNPL Antikörper) coordinately enhance skipping of human MUSK (zeige MUSK Antikörper) exon 10 to generate a Wnt (zeige WNT2 Antikörper)-insensitive MuSK (zeige MUSK Antikörper) isoform.
Our results suggested that hnRNP C1 controls HPV16 late gene expression.
m(6)A-switch-regulated HNRNPC-binding activities affect the abundance as well as alternative splicing of target mRNAs, demonstrating the regulatory role of m(6)A-switches on gene expression and RNA maturation
PTBP1 (zeige PTBP1 Antikörper) and hnRNP C repress exon 3 inclusion, and that downregulation of PTBP1 (zeige PTBP1 Antikörper) inhibited BIM (zeige BCL2L11 Antikörper)-mediated apoptosis.
down-regulation of MALAT-1 expression compromised the cytoplasmic translocation of hnRNP C in the G2/M phase and resulted in G2/M arrest
Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein C is a key regulator of BRCA gene expression and homologous recombination-based DNA repair.
hnRNP C and hnRNP H (zeige HNRNPH2 Antikörper) bind to the 3'-UTR (zeige UTS2R Antikörper) of the circadian clock gene Period 2 (mPer2 (zeige PER2 Antikörper)).
Neither hnRNP-C nor FMRP (zeige FMR1 Antikörper) is required for cyclic AMP (zeige TMPRSS5 Antikörper) to stimulate APP (zeige APP Antikörper) and Amyloid beta production.
our results reveal a new function of the splicing factor (zeige SLU7 Antikörper) hnRNP C in the maturation of dendritic cells that involves regulating the expression of NF-kappaB (zeige NFKB1 Antikörper) p65 (zeige NFkBP65 Antikörper) and its downstream targets CD80 (zeige CD80 Antikörper) and CD40 (zeige CD40 Antikörper).
CK1alpha-mediated phosphorylation modulates the mRNA binding ability of hnRNP-C
Data suggest that increased levels of hnRNP C1/C2 may modulate XIAP (zeige XIAP Antikörper) translation by interacting with the XIAP (zeige XIAP Antikörper)-IRES, and may foster synthesis of XIAP (zeige XIAP Antikörper) as a protective pathway by which neurons try to counteract the initial deleterious effects of apoptosis.
This gene belongs to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs). The hnRNPs are RNA binding proteins and they complex with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA). These proteins are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport. While all of the hnRNPs are present in the nucleus, some seem to shuttle between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. The hnRNP proteins have distinct nucleic acid binding properties. The protein encoded by this gene can act as a tetramer and is involved in the assembly of 40S hnRNP particles. Multiple transcript variants encoding at least two different isoforms have been described for this gene.
