These six-membered carbocycles showed nice inhibitory action against AChE and human carbonic anhydrase (hCA) II and I isoforms. The hCA I, II, and AChE were efficiently inhibited by these molecules, with Ki values in the range of 6.70-35.85 nM for hCA I, 18.77-60.84 nM for hCA II, and 0.74-4.60 for AChE, respectively
Discovery of potent carbonic anhydrase, acetylcholinesterase (zeige AChE Proteine), and butyrylcholinesterase (zeige BCHE Proteine) enzymes inhibitors: The new amides and thiazolidine-4-ones synthesized on an acetophenone base.
Here are presented solved the first crystal structures of carbonic anhydrase 1and carbonic anhydrase 2 (zeige CA2 Proteine) in complex with polmacoxib, at 2.0 A and 1.8 A, respectively.
Neuronal carbonic anhydrase I (CA1) appears to be associated with the endoplasmic reticulum subcellular structure.
CA1 is highly expressed in the sera of stage I non-small cell lung cancer patients
We demonstrated that resveratrol, caffeic acid, and tannic acid in stored blood could decrease the sensitivity to oxidation of erythrocytes in vitro but did not exhibit such effects on Carbonic Anhydrase activity.
CA1 is a potential oncogene (zeige RAB1A Proteine) and that it contributes to abnormal cell calcification, apoptosis and migration in breast cancer.
We report on the competitive zinc metalation of apo (zeige C9orf3 Proteine)-carbonic anhydrase [CA; metal-free CA (apo (zeige C9orf3 Proteine)-CA)] in the presence of apo (zeige C9orf3 Proteine)-metallothionein 1A (zeige MT1A Proteine) domain fragments to identify domain specific determinants of zinc binding and zinc donation
The gene encoding CA1 is susceptible to ankylosing spondylitis and plays a role in the process of bone formation.
Myocardial carbonic anhydrase 1/2 activation is significantly elevated in diabetic ischemic cardiomyopathy.
During inner ear development, transcripts of four cytosolic isozymes (Car1, Car2 (zeige CA2 Proteine), Car3 (zeige CA3 Proteine), and Car13 (zeige CA13 Proteine)), two membrane-bound isozymes (Car12 and Car14 (zeige CA14 Proteine)), and two CA-related proteins (Car8 (zeige CA8 Proteine) and Car11 (zeige CA11 Proteine)) were expressed at higher levels than other isozymes.
Over-expression of CA1 may aggravate joint inflammation and tissue destruction in the transgenic mice.
Taken together, these data show that Ldb1 (zeige LDB1 Proteine) forms a regulatory complex to maintain Car1 expression in erythroid cells.
Regulatory dendritic cells pulsed with carbonic anhydrase I suppress development of colitis in a severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID (zeige PRKDC Proteine)) mouse transfer model by inducing the differentiation of regulatory T cells in an antigen-specific manner.
the direct in vivo interaction between Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV) HCPro and the Arabidopsis homologue of SABP3, AtCA1, is reported.
Inhibition of AtSBAP3 CA function by S-nitrosylation could contribute to a negative feedback loop that modulates the plant defense response. [AtSABP3]
Time-resolved kinetics for dansylamide binding to carbonic anhydrase in solutions crowded with polyethylene glycol and Ficoll, were measured.
These data suggest a novel, opportunistic route for pre-protein processing of CAH1.
crystal structure of the mature form of alpha-type carbonic anhydrase has been determined at 1.88 A resolution
crystal of carbonic anhydrase diffracted to 1.88 A resolution and a preliminary solution of its crystal structure has been obtained by the MAD method
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA1 is closely linked to CA2 and CA3 genes on chromosome 8, and it encodes a cytosolic protein which is found at the highest level in erythrocytes. Variants of this gene have been described in some populations. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified. Transcript variants of CA1 utilizing alternative polyA_sites have been described in literature.
