  1. Recruitment of Paxillin (zeige PXN Antikörper), Cdc42 (zeige CDC42 Antikörper) and N-WASP is necessary for cell adhesion, migration and invasion induced by Estradiol in breast cancer cells.

  2. Results suggest that local invasiveness of ameloblastoma is dependent upon the migratory potential of its tumour cells as defined by their distribution of cortactin, N-WASP and WIP in correlation with F-actin cytoskeletal dynamics.

  3. A Treg-specific role for WASP is required for prevention of Th2 effector cell differentiation and allergic sensitization to dietary antigens.

  4. WASP and SCAR drive pseudopod formation and are conserved in actin-filled pseudopod-based motility.

  5. Authors show that knock-down of WASp or expression of Y102F mutant of WASp decreases colony formation and in vivo tumor growth. Results show that WASp is a novel substrate of ALK (zeige ALK Antikörper) and has a critical role in regulating invasiveness and oncogenesis of ALCL.

  7. The inducible recruitment of WASp to the TCR-CD3 (zeige CD3 Antikörper) complex is partially dependent of tyrosine phosphorylation of Cd3e (zeige CD3E Antikörper).

  8. This suggests that TOCA1 binding to Cdc42 is an early step in the Cdc42-dependent pathways that govern actin dynamics, and the differential binding affinities of the effectors facilitate a handover from TOCA1 to N-WASP, which can then drive recruitment of the actin-modifying machinery.

  9. the Cdc42 (zeige CDC42 Antikörper)/Nwasp/stress fibers/YAP (zeige YAP1 Antikörper) signal pathway may potentially play an important role in regulating podocyte apoptosis. Maintaining necessary Cdc42 (zeige CDC42 Antikörper) would be one potent way to prevent proteinuria kidney diseases.

  10. Low GAS7C increases cancer cell motility by promoting N-WASP/FAK (zeige PTK2 Antikörper)/F-actin cytoskeleton dynamics. It also enhances beta-catenin (zeige CTNNB1 Antikörper) stability via hnRNP U (zeige HNRNPU Antikörper)/beta-TrCP (zeige BTRC Antikörper) complex formation.

  7. Findings suggest that Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein (WASp) plays a crucial role in B10 cell development and that WASp-deficient B10 cells may contribute to autoimmunity in Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome.

  8. N-terminus of Cas (zeige CTNND1 Antikörper) associates with the FAK (zeige PTK2 Antikörper)-N-WASP complex at the protrusive edge of the cell and that the C-terminus of Cas (zeige CTNND1 Antikörper) associates with the immobilized integrin-SFK cluster.

  9. These results strongly suggest that the association between the WASP N-terminal domain and Btk (zeige BTK Antikörper) plays an important role in the TLR2 (zeige TLR2 Antikörper)-signaling pathway in macrophages.

  10. Toca-1 (zeige FNBP1L Antikörper)(knockdown) cells have defects in formation of myotubes probably due to reduced activity of actin cytoskeleton regulators such as N-WASP.

WASL Antigen-Profil

Beschreibung des Gens

The Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS) family of proteins share similar domain structure, and are involved in transduction of signals from receptors on the cell surface to the actin cytoskeleton. The presence of a number of different motifs suggests that they are regulated by a number of different stimuli, and interact with multiple proteins. Recent studies have demonstrated that these proteins, directly or indirectly, associate with the small GTPase, Cdc42, known to regulate formation of actin filaments, and the cytoskeletal organizing complex, Arp2/3. The WASL gene product is a homolog of WAS protein, however, unlike the latter, it is ubiquitously expressed and shows highest expression in neural tissues. It has been shown to bind Cdc42 directly, and induce formation of long actin microspikes.
