P-Glycoprotein (MDR-1, ABCB1) fällt in die Gruppe der Multidrug Resistant Proteins, die die Aufnahme von Medikamenten hemmen und die Ausbildung von Resistenzen gegen Zytostatika beeinflussen. Zum Nachweis dieses Proteins wird dieser monoklonale anti-P-Glycoprotein Antikörper (Klon MRK16) verstärkt eingesetzt: anti-Human P-Glycoprotein Antikörper (ABIN187222). Der Antikörper wurde für die Durchflusszytometrie, die Immunhistochemie mit Gefrierschnitten sowie für die Immunfluoreszenz getestet.
