Produktmerkmale 3-Amino-9-Ethylcarbazole (AEC) is a chromogen for immunohistochemical staining of tissue and cell preparations. AEC produces a red precipitate that can be detected by light microscopy. This product is available in a ready-to-use single solution so that all mixing and waste is eliminated. This reagent produces a clean, very intense stain.

The AEC end product is soluble in organic solvents and must be used with an aqueous counterstain and mounting media.

Protokoll 1. Prepare samples as required.
2. Apply a sufficient volume of the AEC Single Solution reagent to cover the tissue section.
3. Incubate the tissue section for a minimum of 10 minutes.
4. Rinse slide in buffer
5. Apply counterstain according to manufacurer’s instructions.
6. Apply a sufficient volume of an aqueous mounting medium to cover the section.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen 1. Take reasonable precautions when handling reagents. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
2. Avoid contact of reagents with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. If reagents come into contact with sensitive areas, wash with copious amounts of water.
3. Consult local or state authorities with regard to recommended method of disposal.
4. Avoid microbial contamination of reagents.

Informationen zur Lagerung The user must validate any other storage conditions. This reagent must be returned to the storage conditions identified above immediately after use. When properly stored, the reagent is stable to the date indicated on the label. Do not use the reagent beyond the expiration date. There are no definitive signs to indicate instability of this product, therefore, positive and negative controls should be tested simultaneously with unknown specimens.
