This antibody recognizes insoluble elastin, alpha-elastin, soluble non- cross linked precursor of elastin (tropoelastin). Elastin is an important polymeric protein of connective tissue that imparts elasticity to vertebrate elastic tissues. This antibody cross reacts with human, goat, dog, cat, guinea pig, pig and sheep.

Applikationshinweise

Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:50-1:100 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Positive Control: Heart. Cellular localization: Connective tissue Other Applications: Immunoprecipitation, Western blotting (1:100-500).
