Spezifität: This antibody is specific to human cytokeratin 18 of 45 kD. Cytokeratin 18 belongs to a family of acidic type A and exists along with cytokeratin 8 in most simple ductal and glandular epithelia. This antibody does not reacts with squamous epithelium. It reacts with benign and malignant epithelial lesions as well as majority of adenocarcinomas and basal cell carcinomas.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Titer/Working Dilution: This antibody may be diluted to a titer of 1:25-1:75 in an ABC method. However, depending on the staining conditions employed, we suggest that final dilution should be determined by the user. Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Skin.
