Beschreibung: IgY is an immunoglobulin found in a bird egg yolk – therefore named IgY. Thisprotein is accumulated in egg yolk to provide passive immunoprotection to ahatched chick. On a molecular level IgY differs slightly from mammalianimmunoglobulin found in serum called IgG .
