Spezifität
|
The CA-125 antigen is present on a mucin-like glycoprotein of >200kD. This Reacts with an antigen common to most non-mucinous epithelial ovarian carcinomas. Staining is positive in serous and endometrioid adenocarcinomas, Krukenberg's tumor and uterine myoma. Mucinous tumors and normal ovarian epithelium are negative. CA125 is detectable on the apical surface of normal endometrium and endocervix Predicted Reactivities: Human.
