Beschreibung: A disulphide-linked heterodimer, consisting of CD79a / mb-1 and CD79b / B29polypeptides, is non-covalently associated with membrane-bound immunoglobulins on Bcells to constitute the B cell Ag receptor. CD79a first appears at pre B cell stage andpersists until the plasma cell stage where it is found as an intracellular component. CD79ais found in the majority of acute leukemias of precursor B cell type, in B cell lines, B celllymphomas, and in some myelomas.

Spezifität: This Antibody reacts to CD79a and is a marker that is generally used to complement CD20. This antibody will stain many of the same lymphomas as CD20, but also is more likely tostain precursor B-lymphoid leukemias than CD20. Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 1/200. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer,pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Slides must be washed in betweensteps. Rinse slides with PBS/0.05% Tween. Incubation Time: 30 min at RT. Positive Control: Tonsil and B cell lymphoma. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
