Peptide ELISA: Detection limit dilution: 1/32000. Western blot: 0.5-2 μg/mL. Approx 48 kDa band observed in lysates of cell line HeLa(calculated MW of 47.8 kDa according to NP_001983.2). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Thrombin receptor is a 7 transmembrane G protein coupled receptor involved in the regulation of thrombotic response. Proteolytic cleavage leads to the activation of the receptor. It may play a role in platelet activation and in vascular development. Thrombin receptor expression has been documented in various blood cells, colon, kidney, liver, lung, skin, and vessel. ESTs have been isolated from adrenal, embryo, heart, heart/melanocyte/uterus, liver/spleen, pineal, skin, spleen, and vessel.Synonyms: CF2R, Coagulation factor II receptor, PAR-1, PAR1, Proteinase-activated receptor 1
