Beschreibung: Proteinase inhibitor 6 (PI-6) is a 42 kDa cytoplasmic protein belonging to the serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) super family and the ovalbumin-serpin super family. Sequence similarity suggests that PI-6 most resembles the ovalbumin serpins . Highest levels of PI-6 are found in skeletal muscle. PI-6 is also found in placenta, cardiac muscle, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas.

Spezifität: The antibody recognizes human PI-6. Reactivity to other species has not been determined.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: The antibody can be used in indirect immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry. However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually.

Buffer: 100 µg (0.5 mg/ml) purified mouse monoclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.01% thimerosal.

Lagerung: Store at -20°C. Shelf life: 12 months. The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
