Beschreibung: Lipocalin 2 is from a family of proteins that are involved in the transportation of small hydrophobic molecules including steroids, retinoids, bilin and retinods. Lipocalins have been linked to many biolchemical processes such as immune response, pheromone transport, biological prostaglandin synthesis, retinoid binding, and cancer cell interactions.

Spezifität: The antibody recognizes ~ 20kDa Lipocalin 2 of human origin. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Recombinant human Lipocalin-2 (Cat.# 4928-10) can be used as a positive control. The antibody recognizes ~ 20kDa Lipocalin 2 of human origin. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
