Beschreibung: Hemopexin (HPX) is a plasma protein that has the highest binding affinity for heme. HPX prevents heme-mediated oxidative stress and heme-bound iron loss by transporting heme to the liver for breakdown.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes ~68 kDa of Hemopexin in samples from human, mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.

Reinigung: Affinity Purified Antibody

Buffer: 200 µg (0.5 mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.01% thimerosal.

Lagerung: Store at -20°C. Shelf life: 12 months. The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
