Beschreibung: Calbindin-D-28K (also known as vitamin D-dependant calcium binding protein) belongs to a family of low molecular weight calcium-binding proteins (CaBPs). Calbindin-D-28K is found mostly in subpopulations of central and peripheral nervous system nuerons and also in certain epithelial cells involved in Ca2+ transport.

Spezifität: The antibody recognizes ~28 kDa Calbindin- D-28K of human, mouse, rat, and monkey origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
