Beschreibung: Stem Cell Factor (SCF) is a hematopoietic growth factor that exerts its activity at the early stages of hematopoiesis. SCF stimulates the proliferation of mast cells and is able to augment the proliferation of both myeloid and lymphoid hematopoietic progenitors in bone marrow culture. It also mediates cell to cell adhesion and acts synergistically with other cytokines, probably interleukins. A soluble form is produced by proteolytic processing of isoform 1 in the extracellular domain.

Spezifität: React with Human SCF, not yet tested in other species.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.

Lagerung: SCF Antibody(3H3C8), mAb, Mouse should be stored at lyophilized form until use. It is stable in lyophilized form for at least two years if stored at -20°C. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for up to three months at 2- 8°C or for up to two years at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles.
