Beschreibung: Epitope tags consisting of short sequences recognized by well-characterizated antibodies have been widely used in the study of protein expression in various systems. Universal-tag is an epitope tag composed of a six-residue peptide, HTTPHH. Antibodies-Online Rabbit Anti-Universal-tag Polyclonal Antibody is highly purified from rabbit antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography and is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at a concentration of 1 mg/ml in PBS, pH7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Spezifität: This Antibody recognizes both N-terminal and C-terminal Universal tagged fusion proteins.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product. ELISA: 0.05-0.2 ug/ml Western blot: 0.1-1.0 ug/ml Western blot using ONE-HOUR WesternTM Kit:For quick results, Antibodies-Online ONE-HOUR WesternTM Kit L00204C is recommended. 10 ug of this antibody is mixed with 10 ml of WB solution for 8 cm X 8 cm membrane.
