Beschreibung: HCST is a transmembrane signaling adaptor that contains a YxxM motif in its cytoplasmicdomain. It may form part of the immune recognition receptor complex with the C-typelectin-like receptor NKG2D and may activate phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase dependentsignaling pathways. The receptor complex containing HCST may have a role in cell survivaland proliferation by activation of NK and T cell responses. Alternative splicing results intwo transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Spezifität: This antibody is expected to recognize isoform 1 (NP_055081. 1) but it may recognizeisoform 2 lacking residue E81 (NP_001007470. 1). Species Reactivity: Tested: Human. Expected from sequence similarity: Mouse and Rat.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Peptide ELISA: 1/128000. Western Blot: 0.2-0.6 µg/ml. Approx 40kDa band observed in Human spleen lysates (calculated MW of 9.5kDaaccording to NP_055081.1). An additional band of unknown identity was also consistentlyobserved at 100kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with theimmunising peptide. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
