Beschreibung: ADAM33, also known as A disintegrin and metalloproteinase 33, is a member of themetalloproteinase family containing disintegrin-like domains (ADAMs). ADAM33 appearsto be widely expressed and found in most organs. ADAM33 may act as a cell-attachmentmolecule, by binding integrins through the cysteine-rich domain. Recent work suggeststhat mutations in ADAM33 may be linked to asthma and that many of the mutationsgenerate new cysteine residues, which may disturb the function of ADAM33.

Spezifität: This antibody is expected to recognise isoform alpha of ADAM33 and not isoform beta. Species: Human. Others not tested.

Applikationshinweise: Peptide ELISA: 1/64000. Western Blot: 0.1 - 0.3 µg/ml. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
