Beschreibung: 14-3-3 alpha + beta mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine containingproteins. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with RAF1 and CDC25phosphatases. It may play a role in linking mitogenic signaling and the cell cyclemachinery. Two transcript variants, which encode the same protein, have been identifiedfor this gene. They are also adapter proteins implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of bothgeneral and specialized signaling pathway. They bind to a large number of partners,usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif. Binding generallyresults in the modulation of the activity of the binding partner.

Spezifität: This antibody is specific to 14-3-3 protein beta/alpha. Species: Human, Mouse and Rat. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 10 µg/ml. Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Konzentration: 0.2 mg/ml

Buffer: PBS, pH 7.4 containing 0.05% Sodium Azide as preservative and 0.2% BSAas stabilizer.

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
