Beschreibung
|
Interleukin-16 (IL-16) is an immunomodulatory cytokine, which induces lymphocyte migration, expression of proinflammatory IL-1beta, IL6 and tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNFa), and modulates apoptosis. This protein is a pleiotropic cytokine that functions as a chemoattractant, a modulator of T cell activation, and an inhibitor of HIV replication. The signaling process of this cytokine is mediated by CD4. Also, IL-16 has been shown to recruit and activate many other cell including monocytes, eosinophils, and dendritic cells expressing the CD4 molecules.Concentration: 1 mg/ml
