Produktbeschreibung
| Weitere Bezeichnung | vomeronasal type-1 receptor B2B4 (VN1B2, V1rb2, VRi2) |
| Swiss-Prot | Q9WUF1 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide as a part of mouse vomeronasal type-1 receptor B2 (VN1B2, V1rb2, VRi2) and vomeronasal type-1 receptor B4 (VN1B4, vomeronasal type-1 receptor A10, vomeronasal type-1 receptor B11, V1ra10, V1rb11, V1rb4) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Beschreibung | FUNCTION: Putative pheromone receptor implicated in the regulation of social and reproductive behavior. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in a subset of sensory neurons located in the apical layer of thevomeronasal organ. MISCELLANEOUS: Mice lacking V1RB2 show a disrupted pattern of axonal projections to the accessoryolfactory bulb. MISCELLANEOUS: Mice lacking all but one V1RA and V1RB gene (12% of the V1R repertoire) show a lack of chemosensory response to a subset of known pheromonal ligands and changes in maternal aggression as well as male reproductive behavior. | Spezifität | Appears to be specific for VN1B2 and also VN1B4 (see the Immunogen). |
Anwendungen
| Applikationshinweise | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 3000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. |
| Reinheit | whole serum |
| Lagerung | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
