Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of mouse Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 29 (Vesicle protein sorting 29, VPS29) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat, human, chicken, zebra fish and xenopus.

Beschreibung: FUNCTION: Essential component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also required to regulate transcytosis of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR-pIgA). Has low protein phosphatase activity towards a serine-phosphorylated peptide derived from IGF2R (in vitro). Has no activity towards p-nitrophenylphosphate, p-nitrophenylphosphorylcholine or phosphatidylinositlphosphates (in vitro). CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: O-phospho-L(or D)-serine + H2O = L(or D)-serine + phosphate. COFACTOR: Binds 2 zinc ions per subunit. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm. Membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not tested in other applications.

Reinheit: whole serum

Lagerung: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
