Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the internal part of rat Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 28 (ASK1, VPS28, CIIA) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse, human, zebra fish and xenopus.

Beschreibung: This gene encodes a protein involved in endosomal sorting of cell surface receptors via a multivesicular body/late endosome pathway. The encoded protein is one of the three subunits of the ESCRT-I complex (endosomal complexes required for transport) involved in the sorting of ubiquitinated proteins. The two other subunits of ESCRT-I are vesicular protein sorting 23, also known as tumor susceptibility gene 101 (TSG101), and vesicular protein sorting 37. Also known as: ASK1, Caspase-activated DNase inhibitor that interacts with ASK1, VPS28, CIIA.

Spezifität: Appears to be specific for VPS28.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.

Reinheit: whole serum

Lagerung: Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
